Tony Slinn

Tony Slinn is the UK based Editor-in-chief of Dredging and Port Construction, Safety at Sea International and Ports & Harbors magazines. Slinn founded the journal Commercial Diver & Underwater Contractor while working for the Daily Mail Group and was managing editor of their maritime division before joining IHS Fairplay as editor-in-chief where he’s responsible for Dredging and Port Construction, Safety at Sea International and Ports & Harbors magazines. He is a British Sub-Aqua Club and HSE-registered advanced scuba diving instructor and also holds a UK Ministry of Transport coastal skipper’s license.

Richard Clayton is the UK Based Editor of Fairplay International Shipping Weekly. He took over two years ago after ten years editing Fairplay’s widely-read Daily Shipping News bulletin. He trained as a ship broker and gained an M.Sc in International Shipping before joining Fairplay. He has a broad overview of the commercial shipping industry and has traveled extensively with the company.

He was nominated for the Desmond Wettern Media Award at the 2008 Maritime Media Awards for his work on the title.
