MEDIA ALERT: Bahrain protests continue amid escalating violence
Bahraini security forces fired live rounds and used tear gas on anti-government protesters. At least 25 people had been hurt. Yesterday the peaceful demonstrations were attacked, and at least 4 people died and hundreds injured.The protests have grown with the impact of those in Tunisia and Egypt. The youth unemployment rate in Bahrain is 19.6%. Protesters have called for democracy and social changes.
