Max Abrahms is an expert on the consequences
of terrorism, its motives, and counter-terrorism strategy.

Currently, Dr. Abrahms is a fellow at both the Dickey Center for International Understanding at Dartmouth College and on the Empirical Studies of Conflict project at Princeton University and the Hoover Institute. He was previously a fellow at the Center for International Security and Cooperation at Stanford University, a fellow at West Point Military Academy, and a research associate at Harvard’s Belfer Center in the Kennedy School of Government.
Abrahms received his PhD in Political Science from UCLA, his M.Phil in International Relations from St. Antony’s College, Oxford University, and his BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
