Dr. Alan Collins is a Senior Lecturer in International Relations at Swansea University, UK. He is a specialist on security and international relations, focusing on East and Southeast Asia.
Prior to joining Swansea University in 1999, Dr. Collins was a British Academy Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth where he also completed his PhD.
He is currently conducting research on ASEAN’s community building project and has published numerous articles on the matter in the academic journals International Relations of the Asia Pacific and Contemporary Southeast Asia.
