Tariq Saeedi is the editor of nCa (News Central Asia), a small news and information service based in Turkmenistan.
As a foreign journalist based in Turkmenistan for the last 13 years, and head of the only private news service recognized by Turkmenistan since 2003, he has gained considerable following in the international diplomatic and business circles interested in Turkmenistan.
He has analyzed and influenced on several policy issues in the Central Asia region. His opinion and analysis are routinely included in the daily briefs for the heads of state in the region.
Saeedi is a former officer of the Pakistan Navy. He has an MA degree in international relations.
